Overnight roadwork triggered an eastbound travel time spike to 153 minutes
Regular daytime traffic moved smoothly across both spans despite routine maintenance closures. However, eastbound travel times spiked to a peak of 153 minutes around 9:00 PM shortly after the eastbound span closed for scheduled roadwork. Operations shifted to a two-way configuration on the westbound bridge with one travel lane in each direction and the center lane buffered. Delays cleared by 10:00 PM, when eastbound crossing times dropped back down to 12 minutes.
