Evening Bay Bridge roadwork brings 2.5-mile eastbound backup to Exit 30
Eastbound span roadwork produced a 2.5-mile backup to Exit 30 at 8:50 p.m. Eastbound travel peaked at 22 minutes during the 8 p.m. hour, versus the usual 10 minutes. At 8:15 p.m., the eastbound span was closed, with one lane each way on the westbound span and its center lane closed as a buffer. Backups were reported cleared at 9:05 p.m., but the eastbound span remained closed at 11:10 p.m.
