Wind restrictions spanned the day with brief morning maintenance delays
Sustained wind speeds between 40 and 49 mph triggered wind restrictions across most of the day, barring house trailers and empty box trailers from crossing. Maintenance work briefly closed the eastbound right lane around 8:43 AM, causing a 1.5-mile queue back to Exit 31 (Whitehall Road) by 8:57 AM. Eastbound travel times peaked at 16 minutes at 9:00 AM before returning to normal by 9:34 AM. Westbound lanes remained completely clear throughout the day.
