Eastbound roadwork and lane closures spurred midday delays up to 3.5 miles.
Eastbound traffic faced recurring midday slowdowns, peaking around 12:47 PM when delays stretched 3.5 miles back to Exit 29A (Busch Frontage Road) while a lane was closed for roadwork. Earlier work had reduced the eastbound span to two lanes, pushing travel times up to 24 minutes at noon before clearing by 1:12 PM. A brief secondary backup reached 3 miles to Exit 29B at 3:22 PM during two-way lane prep, while westbound traffic remained entirely clear all day.
